Travel
Travel played a major role in Evangeline’s life and since her husband, Arthur, was an airline pilot, she could move to destinations around the world with relative ease. She traveled in Europe, specifically France, Italy, and Monaco and visited several family members in England over the years. Her sketchbook went with her and it was filled with ideas for paintings that she would complete when she had returned home. After her husband passed away, she continued to travel as long as she was able. As mentioned before, she was a frequent visitor to the Caribbean and when she visited her daughter, Pamela, who lives in the Turks and Caicos Islands, she brought along a sketch book and art supplies to keep herself occupied.
