Other Media – Collage
Evangeline’s experimentation with other media was primarily rooted in painting but she frequently would blend collage, particularly tissue paper collage, when she worked in watercolour and acrylic medium. She loved the accidental events that happened in front of her and delighted in seeing what she could see in a design once the ‘messy part’ of the painting had dried. Much of her fantasy work began in this way.
